2008 In Review

When I started thinking about this post, my first thoughts were that 2008 was nothing special. Just an average year. Nothing hugely good and nothing hugely bad - just average.

But the more I thought, the more I realized that 2008 has been a fantastic year in my life.

We have lived in:
  1. Hampton, Virginia
  2. Banner Elk, North Carolina
  3. Knoxville, Tennessee
  4. Orlando, Florida
  5. Tullahoma, Tennessee

I have:

  1. Visited 10 national parks
  2. Zorbed
  3. Visited DisneyWorld, SeaWorld, and Typhoon Lagoon
  4. Gone deep sea fishing
  5. Watched jets take off from Langley
  6. Saw Air Force 1
  7. Wake surfed
  8. Went to Bonnaroo
  9. Got an awesome bicycle
  10. Fully recovered from shoulder surgery

But the best thing about 2008? I started blogging and have met some of the most wonderful people. I can rant and rave. I can be happy or sad. And everyone is still around - still supportive - still glad to hear from me.

That friendship has meant more to me than you could possibly imagine. The love and support that I feel from you have enabled me to face some of my inner demons. Thank you for that.

My wish for the New Year is that our friendship will continue to grow.

May each of you have a healthy and happy New Year!

Whew! I think I'm finally caught up with your posts.

Ditto on the whole blogging thing. I definitely think it's made my life better. Even though my hubby doesn't know who the hell I'm talking about when talking about my bloggy friends, lol.
