Attention, Everyone!

We are pulling out our redneck holiday spirit.

We are hosting the IWVF (Incredible Woody/Vol Fan) 1st Annual Pigaroo!

The pig will be going into the pit this Friday evening and if all goes as planned, it will be eaten on Saturday. (If things don't go as planned, we will be having Whitt's Barbeque.) I am sure there will be lots of beverages consumed between the pit entry and the pit exit.

So pull on your long johns and join us for what I am sure will be a VERY good time! I would love to meet some bloggy friends! Email me for directions.

as much as I love a good pig roast, you may be a bit too far for me.
My PIG story:
When I was about 14 my dad was hosting a pig roast at our house. I did not know what this meant...until I went into my bathroom and pulled back the shower curtain to take a bath and to my shock, there layed a large dead pig. I will never forget it!!!
I think I ate cole slaw and chips that entire day.

Sounds like fun! And my kind of day! I have plans for Saturday already but if they don't pan out, I'd love to come. How do you get there from the Big Woods ;-)

Wow, I didn't know you would invite us so soon! It may not be quite enough notice.

If you only knew how tempted I am to drive on over. I could be there by Friday. I mean heck, I flew to Hawaii for a pig roast once.

I think we live way too far away : ). I would so love to meet some of my blog friends though! I know you will have a great time. Roasted pigs freak me out a little but they sure taste divine : ).

The dog... I think we are going to get it. I mean how stinkin' cute is it? Gary has the ultimate decision and we will be deciding for sure before Christmas as it will be one of Kaishon's big presents. Kaish wants a puppy so bad. It is all he keeps talking about. Thank you for caring : ).

That sounds so yummy! Pit roasted pig barbecue--I'm salivating already. One of my brothers doesn't live too far from you (Kentucky)--sometime I'll have to visit him and take a little detour down to your neck of the woods!
