Before you get all "keeping up with the Jones" or jealous beyond all reason when that co-worker tells you that they are going to their little place in the mountains for the weekend, just remember this. That little place might look like this!
I saw this place somewhere on the backroads around Pigeon Forge over Thanksgiving weekend. Of course, I had to turn around and go back for a picture!

How funny, Woody... I 'wonder' just how many 'places in the mountains' look JUST like this one???? I'll bet there are more than we know!!!!! ha ha ha

So, so true! The same goes with lake houses too. Sometimes it's even a trailer house & they act like it's the Taj Mahal, lol. I figure everyone has their *happy place*, but some are happier than others.
;-)
couldn't you have sneaked up to the window and taken a few sneak peek pics of the inside? my curiosity is aroused.
:-))
Hahaha, that's great! At least there are no dead cars in the yard, that we can see anyway! I'd love to see inside too.
How funny is that...I would have taken a picture as well.
You crack me up!

Now that's some high-falutin' livin' right thar! ;)
They say "home is where the heart is".....
I have seen and even BEEN inside a place like this in my past.....not so jealous. :)
cute!!
Why didn't you stop in and say "Howdy" when you were snapping a photo of my mountain getaway?? Bwahahaha!
Wonder if they are taking reservations?
Hey! You should have knocked! I woulda made some coffee!
That's too funny! Looks like some of the places on the lakes around here!
ya know, a friend of mine once invited me to her family's "place in the mountains". I expected it to be a rustic cabin. Imagine my surprise when I arrived to their 4,000 square foot lodge
I love it! That's what you call "new money". ;)
Hahahaha! Doesn't look too secure against wildlife to me. I think I'll pass. LOL!
That's some creative construction!
Pretty clever....wonder what the vacation home looks like?
peace
