On the way there, I spotted this - the public library in Jamestown, NC. Isn't that beautiful? I really have to go back without a dog so I can go in!
I also spotted this! "The World's Largest Highboy"
So after this picture from last week
And that fact that there is supposed to be "The World's Largest Duncan Phyfe Chair" around here somewhere. I think I have spotted a trend.
I just can't decide what the trend is. Is it furniture or "World's Largest" things?
PS - I'm quitting Bubble Town - cold turkey!!

I wish I could have been down there with you!!!
I would have screamed too.
very cute woody. Love the pictures. Not sure of the trend either...but I love the fact that YOU and Dixie were both afraid of the geese. Cute.
Wooo Woody---Be careful and don't let those chest of drawers gobble you and Dixie up!!! (Funny about the geese.) Do they make furniture in that area of the country???? Wonder why they are trying to out-do each other when featuring the "World's Largest..."??? Weird...
Beautiful library...
Have a great day.
Hugs,
Betsy
My dog loved to chase birds, until a duck chased him. I still think those would make great condos. Is the local community pool a huge toilet?
Cold turkey, yeah, right!
Fun pictures! That library is beautiful. I wonder what Dixie would do if she caught one of those geese?!
I thought you went there to work?
Oh that's right, you were on lunch!
Looks like the weather is super!
I'd be scared of the big drawers!
Gotta watch out for those geese! Beautiful library...and by the sounds(and pictures) of it your finding lots of large things...lol!
Wow, are you off in a fairy tale land right now? :P
I believe that the world's largest Duncan Phyfe chair MIGHT be large enough to comfortably contain my blogger butt!!! Bwahahaha!
High Point is the Furniture Capital of the world or at least it used to be before they got carried away making giant furniture that no one could fit in their house.
That library looks beautiful.
LOL..I could just picture you two running from the geese, how funny. Mom's rooster chased me once. It was MEAN. The Rock took care of it tho (because of the kids).
That is some big furniture. I would have room for my clothes with a little to spare, can you send it my way?
Ohmahgah, geese are SCARY! When I rode horses growing up we raised a few of them from babies and they TURNED ON US! They would put their heads down low to the ground making their necks like a U shape and run after us. Mother F-ers. Needless to say, I don't blame either one of you!
And yes, black socks with white shoes ... HAWT.
Those geese are scary!!
OH got bitten in the bum by a swan once. It sneaked up behind him (if you'll excuse the pun) and nailed him. I know swans are known for being agressive, and are bigger birds than geese - but did you know that people used to keep geese as 'watchdogs?'
Your poor dog didn't stand a chance! LOL!
Canadian geese are scary? We always loved them. Kaish and I fed them in the park when he was a baby. That library looks GORGEOUS. I want to come visit!
