Prom

Last weekend was Soccer Boy's Senior Prom. I'd love to share some wonderful memories of mine but there was alcohol involved so memories? Not so much.

Getting a little help from Crafty with the cuff links.

Home Brew is always trying to be helpful to Crafty. She is a scrapbooker. So he is always ready with a pose for the camera.

Soccer Boy with Mom and Dad. Home Brew went all out dressing for the occasion.

Soccer Boy with his date.

Another milestone in the memory bank. Soccer Boy's mother looks young enough to be his girlfriend.

Awwww! I didn't go to my prom! My boyfriend was in college and didn't want to go. I let him talk me out of it. We went to Disneyland instead, but STILL! What I wouldn't give for a Jessica McClintock velvet dress and big hair do-over.

And the prom outfit is good for interviews and horseback riding too!

Ahhh, the prom season...it adds to the beauty all around. I always think it is so sweet to see the kiddos all dressed up.

*sigh* It goes by so fast. Mine is in his first year of middle school, but I know it will zoom by.

Thanks for sharing!

Hi Woody, Soccer Boy sure did look handsome!!!!! His date was a pretty gal.. Is that a girlfriend--or just a date????

My Senior Prom in 1960--had the theme Moonlight and Roses. I'll blog about it someday. It was in our school gym--so it wasn't fancy like the proms kids go to these days. There's alot of money spent now for Proms (with the clothes they wear, where they go, the lemo, and the place(s) where they go to spend the night)... Yipes!!!!

Hugs,
Betsy

awww... I could share some prom memories, but it might be rated R.

And whats up with cuff links?? All clothing that requires an assistant should be banished from our culture.
