As many of you know, I am riding in the Livestrong Challenge in Austin, Texas in October. What you may not know is what team I am riding on.
I am riding on Team Fatty.
Our captain, The Fat Cylist aka Fatty, is probably one of my most favorite people that I've never met.
His wife, Susan, is battling breast cancer that has metasticized. It is literally everywhere.
His post today gives an update on her condition. It isn't good.
Please pray for Susan - so that her pain might be eased.
Please pray for Fatty - so that he will have comfort and strengh while having to watch his wife suffer.
Please pray for their four children.....
I hate cancer.

Poor Susan and the whole family. I can't imagine the struggle this family has had especially with such young children. Cancer SUCKS!!!
Woody-I fight back the tears reading this. I will keep this family in my prayers.
I HATE cancer too!
I hate cancer too. My precious step-mom died of it 17 years ago.
There's nothing funny about cancer. Well, except that Astrology sign...who chose that?
This breaks my heart....sending them my prayers and thoughts.
Suz
Sending prayers their way! We are having our own battle with cancer as well.... I hate cancer too!
We'll be cheering you on in October!!
Sending thoughts and prayers to the family.
I hate fu**ing cancer. I've seen way too much of it. Of course, I'll keep Susan & her family in my prayers.
Just don't ask me to ride a bicycle in Austin in October. I'll watch from the sidelines, thank you! I'll be the old lady with the large umbrella, holding a martini.
He really is an amazing man. And I didn't know about this latest news. Will be holding that whole family in my thoughts.
I follow his site, and I'm devastated by Susan's prognosis. They are all in my prayers.
I will definitely pray for Fatty and his family. Cancer is a wicked disease--and as you probably know, one of my best friends has breast cancer (Stage IV)... Just kills me!!!!
Love and Prayers for them,
Betsy
Wow, I don't know what to say but I think it's wonderful that you are doing this with him. Bless his heart....I'll think of them while on my bike.
Just heartbreaking. I will definitely keep the whole family in my thoughts and prayers!
