Envy

Since I’m too busy hacking up a lung to come up with a real post, I would like to introduce you to someone.
Meet Kristin.  She is from my hometown of Tullahoma, TN.  She is the older sister of a good friend/room mate of College Girl.
Aka Camelsandchocolate.com.
Aka the girl who is living my dream life.
Yes, people.  She travels and writes about it.  And gets paid to do it!!  And not just a little bit of travel either.
In 2009, she racked up around 100,000 in air miles while visiting the Great Barrier Reef, Lake Tahoe, Big Sur, the Cook Islands, New Zealand, New York City, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Berlin, Charleston, the Arctic Circle, Norway, San Diego, Switzerland, Israel, and Macau along with several trips to Tennessee to visit the family and a couple of family trips to Florida.
Seriously, does it get any better than that?

What a disgusting job to have, but I guess somebody has to do it. If Kristin is such a good friend--maybe she'll take care of VolFan for awhile and let you take her job (after you are well of course)..... ha

Hope you feel better soon.
Hugs,
Betsy

I have a young friend who writes reviews for a travel company. Part of his job is rating accommodations and restaurants that the travel company might suggest to it's customers. Not only does he see the world, he stays in the best hotels. What a life. He's done this for about 3 years and had a lifetime of adventures. I am so envious.

Holy moly! She could have been the star of Up in The Air! I bet she has a zillion FFMs.

Good luck with the lung :)

Yeah. Ummm... She's living my dream too. Sniff! I guess I'll have to be satisfied with living vicariously through others for now.

I can't believe she found a family of Arctic foxes! How cool is that?

Hi, Woody! Thanks for the nice shoutout. That's so sweet of you. If you ever want to drop that lazy dog off in these parts, I'll watch her for you while you do your own globetrotting =)
