Today while running my normal Friday errands, I stopped by the bank. It was raining so I chose to go to the drive-thru. All the lanes were full, one car in each line. I hung back a little and pulled into the lane that emptied first.
I got my checks all signed with the account number on the back, dug out my driver's license (since I was getting some cash back), and put everything in the little capsule thing.
Then I proceeded to wait. And wait. And wait.
I noticed that lots of other lanes seemed to be going before me. Soon every car that had been in line when I pulled up had gone. Then I noticed that the next set of cars had gone. Still I hadn't been waited on. By this point, I was getting really ticked off.
I decided to get the people to just send my stuff back to me. I was tired of waiting. So I reached my arm out of the window to push the call button.
And yes, there sat the little capsule. With my stuff. I had never pushed the Send button.
