Noah, Where Are you?

For those that have been watching the news about the record rainfall and flooding in Tennessee, I just wanted to let everyone know that I am safe and dry.  My area has not had near the amount of rainfall seen in Nashville and surrounding areas.  Yes, that is a building (a temporary classroom at a local school) floating down the interstate in Nashville.
I have been glued to the television - watching the craziness unfold.  And I am repeatedly faced with one question.  Just how deep does the water over the road have to be before people will not attempt to drive thru it?

That's pretty crazy stuff, isn't it?

Way back when, we lived in an apartment complex on Bell Road and the back faced Blue Hole Road and Mill Creek. During the time that we lived there I saw Mill Creek flood, but nothing like that!

Hi Woody, We are on the road to the beach and the sun is out... But--I wonder if I'll have a home to go back to next Sat. Crossville hasn't had the rain yet which Nashville has--but they are predicting tornadoes and severe weather this afternoon. Makes me wish I were home---as if I could do anything about it.... ha

We spent the night last night in Simpsonville, SC after seeing some GA waterfalls. Should get to Ocean Isle late this afternoon.

Take care and stay high and dry.
Hugs,
Betsy
