A Pita Tale

Have I mentioned how much I miss my girls?  I've never been away for this long of a stretch.  Usually our jobs are close enough to home that I can zip in for a few days here and there.  But 6 months is a long, long time in little kid time.  So I pick up things here and there to send to Pita and AB so they won't forget me.

While I was in Ojai, I spotted something that they both would love.  Silky nightgowns in a purple leopard print with hot pink and lime green ruffled trim.  Sounds tacky, I know, but they were awesome!

So I popped them in the mail.  This time with one difference.  I put on the package that it was from Uncle Vol Fan.  After a couple of days had passed, Vol Fan got a phone call from the girls, thanking him for the present. (And yes, it made his day!)

Pita had one very important question for him.

Since it was the most beautiful nightgown that she had ever seen and he was a BOY, how did he ever know to pick that out???
