The Frog Incident of ...Well, I'll Let You Know When It Happens

It all began with two little girls that have their Aunt Woody wrapped around their fingers.

First in the cast of characters is Pita.  She is full of sparkles and glitter and nail polish and all things girl.  However, she also likes creepy-crawly things.  Worms.  Lizards.  Crawdads.  All that kind of stuff - she just loves!  So when she comes to my house, we always lift up the base of the basketball hoop to look for worms.  Yesterday when we lifted it up, she got a wonderful surprise.  In her words, she was "so very, very lucky to find these!!!!"   Yes, we found frogs.  Three of them.
Next up is AB.  She is rough and tumble.  Every inch a tomboy.  Except, however, when it comes to creepy-crawly things.  She doesn't want to touch the stuff.  The problem lies with the fact that she absolutely HAS to do everything that her adored big sister, Pita, does.  Even if it is obviously not her cup of tea.
We gathered the frogs and put them in a bucket.  They were enthralled by the frogs.  But alas, all good things must come to an end and it was time to go to Poppy's house for dinner.  Pita, being the persuasive character that she is, convinced her Aunt Woody to let her keep the frogs in the bucket in the garage for just one night.  So the bucket was prepared with a little dirt and some leaves and we left three frogs in the bucket in the garage.

Enter number three in the cast of characters...Uncle Vol Fan, the one whose domain is the garage.  Uncle Vol Fan is a big, tough guy.  A manly man.  But he does NOT. LIKE. FROGS.

When we returned from dinner, we were sad to find that only two frogs remained in the bucket.  So there is a frog loose in Uncle Vol Fan's garage.  Thankfully, he is still in California.  I hope the frog makes his escape before Vol Fan returns....
