Paradise Falls

On Saturday morning, Vol Fan and I were playing a familier game.  It goes like this:

Vol Fan:  What do you want to do today?

Me:  I don't know.  What do you want to do today?

Vol Fan:  I don't know.  What do you want to do today?

Etc.  Etc.  Etc.

We had been playing this little game for about 10-15 minutes when Vol Fan had an idea.  A brilliant idea.  A friend had told us about a nice hike to a waterfall in a nearby town.  It was sunny.  70.  A perfect day for a hike.  So we put on our boots, filled our water bottles, and headed to Thousand Oaks, California to hike to Paradise Falls.

It was a very nice hike.  Three miles round trip with enough hills to tire a fat girl out but not make her feel like she is going to die.

Paradise Falls is beautiful.  It is about a 40' cascade with a beautiful pool at the bottom.

Afterwards, it was 5 Guys for a late lunch.  Yum!
