The Dance Recital
This past weekend, I made a quick trip to Tennessee. The occasion was Pita and AB's dance recital. This is Pita's fourth year taking dance and AB's first. So I was beyond excited to see AB up on stage. She is such a funny kid - I could not wait to see what she would do in the spotlight!
Pita looked so much more grown up this year and much more confident in her dancing ability. It is amazing the difference a year makes.
It is also a day that we get to put mascara on her amazing eyelashes. She is the envy of every woman who sees her!
Unfortunately, AB's performance looked like this...
No amount of convincing, bribing,...would get her in her costume. We thought it was just stage fright. But now we know better....she shared her bug with Aunt Woody. Note to all travelers - Never, ever fly when your ears are stopped up. Trust me. It is painful and it doesn't end pretty.

Awe...so sorry she was sick for her debute.
Those eyelashes are to kill for!! She doesn't even need mascara.
I hear ya about flying with stopped up ears. Not fun.
