Andersonville National Cemetery

While visiting Andersonville National Historic Site, I also visited the National Cemetery.  I love the uniformity, the tranquility of National Cemeteries.

Andersonville is an active cemeteries - meaning that veterans and their families can still be buried there.  On the day of my visit - while I was framing this photograph - the wind picked up at just the right moment.  It brought along with it, the sound of a single bugler playing 'Taps'.

It was a magical moment.
