Corn Maze

Friday night, Vol Fan and I visited Grandaddy's Farm to explore the corn maze.  We took the camera in case we got lost and needed to make a final goodbye video - haha!  For some reason in the last several photos I have taken, I look like I'm either scared to death or all jacked up on cocaine.
[Note to self:  Woody, remember to open your eye for photos but you do not have to raise your eyebrows all the way to your hairline!]

Vol Fan took advantage of the comfy hay sofa!

One of the rules of the corn maze is no flashlights so your sole source of light is glow sticks.  It really adds to the fun!  We decided to attempt to complete it without using the guideposts that are scattered throughout.  When you reach a guidepost, they have a question and depending on your answer it tells you which direction to go.  Hopefully your answer is correct!

After about an hour and a half of twists, turns, dead ends, backtracks, and one 15-minute segment of being truly and completely lost, we found a guidepost and used the last few to guide us out.

Even though it was cold, we had a great time!  If there is a corn maze in your area, make the time to go.  And definitely go at night!  The darkness adds an extra layer of fun.  If you are lucky, fog will move in like it did for us - spooky spooky fun!

It sounds as if you had a wonderful time. I've never been to a corn maze -- I'm going to have to check this out.
