On Saturday of our fabulous girls weekend, I took Pita and AB to Grandaddy's Farm. It is the local pumpkin patch that I told you about a couple of weeks ago. I wanted to do something fun with them plus I had the secret motivation of letting them play themselves into a good night's sleep!
We arrived at 1pm after a quick lunch at Wendy's. And it was off to the races!
We jumped and jumped and jumped and jumped on the Redneck Trampolines...
And went down the slides and went down the slides and went down the slides...
We went to the Bacon Races:)
And raced horses at Hillbilly Downs. By the way, Pita came from the rear and won!
We got tangled in the rope maze....
And raced rubber ducks...
We got lost in the corn maze...
And went on a hayride.
We picked pumpkins...
And rode piggyback. (The day almost derailed right here when the piggy crashed which led to 3 scraped knees and 2 scraped hands and 1 scraped elbow. But my girls are tough and we soldiered on!)
We had a hotdog from the snack bar for supper and then we balanced on hay bales...
And fed the goats.
And then it got dark. So we decided to do all those things one more time by moonlight:)
I forgot to mention that we posed for pictures and played in the corn box and slid around in the tube swing. In between every activity, we jumped on the Redneck Trampolines and slid down the slides. It was a fantastic day!
And yes, we ALL slept VERY good that night!

Your visit to Granddaddy's Farm looks like a lot of fun. I would say that the day was a great success.
