First - I have determined that my list of music festival essentials is not the same as many of the other festival go-ers. My list included:
- Sunblock (because I hate, hate, hate sunburn. Tan, yes. Sunburn, no.)
- Toilet paper (because that stuff always runs out FAST!)
- Hand sanitizer (because, well, because not to use this is just gross when you can't readily wash your hands!!!)
- Imodium (because I'm NOT getting diarrhea from eating that greasy, crappy food!)
The other festival go-er's list included:
- Beer
- Weed
- Other assorted pharmaceuticals
- Hula hoop
- Bubbles
- Fairy wings
- Glo-sticks
Second, band highlights...
- Pearl Jam is FANTASTIC!!! A set pushing 3 hours!
- B. B. King is a class act!
- So is Jack Johnson!
- The Raconteurs - Jack White is amazing!
- Gogol Bordello has the most fun show, ever!
- Who else did I see? Right now, my mind is starting to shut down and I can't really remember....

You and I would make excellent concert-partners. Those are EXACTLY the sorts of things I would bring--in fact, I bring most of that stuff with me everywhere I go.
