A Christmas Miracle

As I awoke one cold, cold morning, I struggled with the desire to stay in my nice toasty-warm bed. But like every morning, the call of nature was, well, calling. Urgently.

Then, terror struck. I remembered during my evening ablutions that I had used the last of the toilet tissue. And I committed a cardinal sin - I did not replace it! This meant that I would have walk across the cold floor all the way down the hallway to the other bathroom to get a replacement roll.

The battle raged. Do I just ignore the call? Do I brave the cold? What should I do?

Then a solution dawned in my sleep-drugged brain. There was a box of Kleenex in my bathroom. Yes, I could use one of those!

So I made my way to the bathroom and as I sat shivering upon my throne, a great company of heavenly host appeared. As they sang Hallelujah, a great light shone from the heavens. As I rubbed the sleep from my eyes, I realized a Christmas miracle had occurred. Something I had never thought was possible.

A new roll of toilet tissue was ON THE HOLDER! Not on the sink - but actually on the holder! And, to top it off, the old tissue roll was in the trash can.

I am now a believer. Miracles do occur at Christmas. So, yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus!

Well I'm a believer now! I know at my house asses would never get wiped if I waited for someone to replace the toilet paper!

If that ever happened here it would be a miracle beyond Santa. I live alone.

I keep so many rolls of toilet paper close by each toilet that running out would be a miracle.

I love it when the toilet fairy comes, whether it's to replace a roll or clean up someone's special surprise.

That husband of yours is AMAZING! Mine has never replaced a roll yet. It's only been a year and a half though, so I am going to keep holding onto hope : ).
