Thanks, Travel Girl!

According to Travel Girl (who is a local!! And yes, we will be meeting!!), High Point is a mecca for furniture. After doing a little research, I found that High Point is home to over 100 furniture manufacturers.

So you know what that means?!? Yea - factory outlets!! Oh wait - boo!! Because The Incredible Woody has exactly $0 in her furniture purchasing fund - damn!!

While researching, I also found that not only is this area loaded with HUGE furniture, they also have some really big birds. Just check out the size of that robin!!

How cool that you get to meet up with a blogging friend! You will have to let us know how that goes! So are you starting a furniture fund in the near future?

Very cute.
We drove to high point about 10 years ago and purchased our dining room set. I could not find one local that I liked.
About 6 weeks after our trip, and STILL waiting for our delivery of the set, I found the exact same stuff local. A bit more expensive..but it was available!!!

you will want to start that furniture fund ASAP. Especially after you go in a few of those places.

Wow, I didn't think Robin had that much size (well that's what Batman said)...

That robin has the cutest face!

Good luck with growing that furniture fund. I'd be in heaven looking at all those stores. I love furniture shopping, what I don't love is an empty wallet!

Wow, at least you will have fun window furniture shopping. I love big, heavy furniture that looks like it will last forever. Too bad it's so hard to transport!
