Updates

Foot Update - Today I went from the cast to this nice little brace. My leg was disgusting when they took that cast off! Hair like you wouldn't believe. I took a nice long shower and shaved. And shaved. And shaved.

I was completely unprepared for how painful my ankle would be. The doctor said "Now you will be sore." Sore? Sore, my ass. I hurt. I'm hoping physical therapy will work miracles.

Blooming Tree Update - In hopes that someone will be able to identify my tree, I am posting a couple of more pics. Several people suggested a type of jasmine and while the flowers are fragrant, they don't smell like jasmine to me, but my sniffer isn't exactly tops at identifying scents. And the leaves are much larger than a jasmine.

Once the flower fades and drops, it leaves behind a little stringy thing. It looks like the stringy thing in honeysuckle. Any guesses as to what my tree is?

Sorry about your ankle... I know it must hurt... Hang in there... It WILL get better, Woody!!!!

I don't know if there are different types of Jasmine ---but I have what I've been told is a Jasmine bush.. It doesn't look anything like yours. Mine has small leaves -whereas yours has big leaves.

I hope you find out---and maybe I am wrong and mine is NOT a Jasmine... Duh!!!

Hugs,
Betsy

That bloom.....is it a laurel?

Could your tree possibly be a Moringa Oleifera? Looks to me like it might be! If it is do I win a prize? :)

I googled honeysuckle and it looks like a river honeysuckle. But then there are about 10 million different types (and they all started to look the same so I gave up!)!

Glad to hear your out of the cast - I do know (from Rachel's 3 breaks in her wrist) that coming out of a cast is painful and it takes the muscles and bone a while to strengthen back up. Don't over do it and take care of yourself!

Me again...Maybe it's a Snowdrop Bush...I think the leaves are too large for my first suggestion.

I hope that the therepy helps and that your back on both of your feet in no time. Love your recent pictures of the honeys in your life.

I've never had to wear a cast. It seems terribly uncomfortable!

Sorry I can't help you with the tree.

Yep! Wanda is right! It is a snowdrop bush. I googled it and the blooms are the same. It's beautiful.

Since you don't complain enough about your ankle, I kinda forgot you were a gimpy.
Sorry you are in pain....when do you start physical therapy?? maybe that will get some of the pain down for you.
Good luck on your tree quest.

I hope your ankle improves quickly. I've never had a cast so I have no tips for you!

I still have no clue as to what your tree is.
