Yep, you guessed it. Pita and AB came for a visit.
On Saturday, we went to Little Ponderosa Zoo in Clinton, Tennessee. Other than the temperature being so hot that we thought we would melt, it was a blast.
Feeding goats and ostriches and sheep. Riding the pony. Chasing the ducks that pestered us to death begging to be fed. Watching the tiger play in his swimming pool. Having a picnic while watching the train roll by. Talking to the monkeys and having them 'talk' back! Hurrying by the llamas, not wanting to get spit on. Getting sneezed on by a deer.
Of course, swimming is always a welcome activity in the summertime! Pita had fun jumping, trying to get the perfect picture while AB napped.

Sounds and looks like you all had a fun time. I love taking kids to small zoo's that they get to pet and feed the animals. I am sure that swimming pool was very inviting with it being so hot. You sure are lucky to get to have so much fun with those neices of yours. Just as they are so lucky to have an aunt that is so fun and loving as you are.
PS I sure enjoy seeing pictures and reading about all your adventures...even if their small ones like this.

Wow-- Aunt Woody knows what to do when she has the kids for a few days. That little zoo looked perfect!!!!! They both had a good time I'm sure!!!! AND--I'll bet you did too!!!

Nothing better than the pool on a hot day! Looks like Pita might have had some fun trying to splash her aunt.
