Vol Fan has always had this thing - he throws his clothes on the floor. Clean. Dirty. It doesn't really matter. He throws them on the floor.
I'm not exactly the best housekeeper in the world so it doesn't really bother me. In fact, I throw my clothes on the floor, too. So it's not a big deal.
So what's the problem, you ask?
Clothes on the floor = Dirty.
So I gather them and put them in the hamper. Not a big deal. Until Vol Fan decides that he wants to put on the clothes that were in the "clean" pile on the floor. But, of course, I have already taken them and put them in the hamper.
So this is how he has solved our little household problem.

That is why I take care of the laundry. Of course, sometimes he'll do his jeans, and if I don't stop him, he'll put his shirts in with them. He has been known to hang the shirts up.
If your system works, go for it! Who says one way is better than another.
Too funny! I think he might be related to my husband though! Of course they couldn't put it on the actual hanger that is right there....that would make too much sense!
The workings of a man's mind never ceases to amaze. :-)
How funny, Woody.... Just don't turn the lamp on!!!! ha ha
You know the older I get, the more I realize that there are just SOME things in life that just don't matter. Wherever the clothes are is OKAY --regardless of what you were taught!!!! ha

We have a chaise lounge in our bedroom that the hubby piles his folded clean laundry on. His dresser is virtualy empty. UGH!
Now you have mood lighting!
Phil said it makes perfect sense to him. Go figure.
looks like the closet is full, so maybe he's waiting for a new spot to open up.
Don't turn on the lamp!
He and Cdub live in the same world!
LMAO...too funny even though is close to the Rock's habits...
gotta luv "em ! :)
HAHAHAHAHAHA! Problem solved!
The old goat is a tosser. Until he does his laundry and leaves it for me to hang up.
I see a closet in your picture, but I guess that's too far to go!
So that's what table lamps are for! LOL!
Well....in the winter, his clothes will be all cozy and stuff....
We have some problems at our house too. Lately the solution has been the dirty clothes don't get to come into the bedroom, so clothes on the floor outside the bedroom are dirty, and inside the bedroom are clean. At least I hope. I make sure dear hubby has the side of the room away from the door so I can try to ignore it as much as possible.
LOL..
My hub does most of the laundry here...and he luckily, its never gotten to this. We even teach our 2 year old that clothes go in the hamper. :)
I swear I only know what day it is by how many piles there on the floor. "Okay, so I wore that Monday, that Tuesday, this Wednesday, so today must be Thursday!"
You are making me feel wonderful!! My clothing is one the floor, too! Inside the closet means dirty. Outside the closet means clean. Mr. Clean aka my husband is not so inspired.
