Since we are nothing if not law abiding citizens, we certainly did not paint any grafitti...
What we painted was art:) Then we were back on the road and headed into New Mexico.
We stumbled across a place that demanded we stop. So we backed down the on ramp went to the next exit and turned around for some exploring. Welcome to Cuervo!
Ghost towns are fantastic! And if it had not been 500 degrees, we probably would have explored more. But the A/C felt good and we were trying to reach Albuquerque before 5! I was desperately in need of another national park stamp. And we made it just in the nick of time to Petroglyph National Monument. Time enough to get my stamp but not enough time to explore.

Thanks for the update, Woody.... You all are making 'tracks'---yet you do manage to stop and see some neat things along the way....
Drive carefully.... Glad you got your stamp.
Hugs,
Betsy
