Waiting To See The Fairies

On Vol Fan's day off, we made good use of the time.  We got up at the butt crack of dawn and piled into the car.  We headed inland, way inland.  Up into the Sierra Nevada mountains.
And while beautiful, this wasn't the purpose of our trip.  We were in search of trees.  Trees?  Yes, trees.  Trees like you could never imagine......Welcome to Sequoia National Park!
Trees you can't wrap your arms around.
Trees to hide in when fallen.  Yes, Vol Fan and I are in the pic as well as Oboe and Giggles.  Can you find us?
Trees you can drive thru.
Trees you can walk thru.
We kept waiting to catch a glimpse of fairies in this magical forest.
Another fantastic day and another should not be missed sight!  But as in any road trip, there can be tense times;)
