Things I Learned In Texas

  • If you are searching for wisdom, you can just drive there.

  • This is what a lake looks like after months and months of exceptional drought.

  • People can do amazing things with hair spray.  I am not one of those people.

  • Prairie dogs are cute.  But when away from the safety of a hole, those little bastards will charge right at you.  And you will scream like a little girl.  And your husband will have to step in and rescue you.  And he will laugh.  And he will tell his co-workers about it.  And they will laugh.  And several days later, your husband will randomly bring it up.  And laugh.  And it will be quite embarrassing

I love your windblown look!

Hey - people are still laughing about my *cartwheel incident*. You just have to be the one who laughs first, LOL!

Are you gone from Texas already? I can't believe we didn't get together, but I was totally manic while they installing new windows. Maybe next time...

Oh wow - sounds like something I would do. I don't like little vermints coming at me.
