Old Stone Fort

One thing people love to do while on vacation is explore.  Sadly, they tend to stop exploring when they get back home.  Vol Fan and I went exploring at a state park that is just a few miles from our home - Old Stone Fort State Archaeological Park.  It is a prehistoric Native American structure, believed to have been built between 80 and 550AD.

The main trail takes you along the rim of the plateau beside the walls.  On the backside of the park, the trails branch of to several areas along the Little Duck and Big Duck Rivers.   A very scenic area - well worth a stop.

I enjoyed visiting there--but it's been alot of years since we were there. Looks like you two had a great day.

How's your health now? Volfan's???? Hope you both are doing good. Great photo of the two of you!

Hugs,
