Moving Day, Again

Sorry for not posting for the last couple of days. I have been in The Land of No Internet Connection. There may not be anyone reading this but I sure do feel guilty when I don't put something out there.

But, it's that time again. I made the move to our new place, our new job location - Knoxville, Tennessee. Home of [cue banjo music].....[cue lyrics to 'Rocky Top']....my alma mater - The University of Tennessee!! Yea!! Go Vols!!

I left the mountain on Sunday because they were calling for 2-5 inches of snow on Sunday night and Monday. I took the scenic route and came to Knoxville via Greeneville, TN in order to get another national park stamp. Greeneville was the home of President Andrew Johnson. Truthfully, I went planning on getting my stamp and leaving. But I actually had a really good time and learned an awful lot. Before going, I think the only knowledge that I had was that he became president upon the assassination (I am so tired that the spelling of that word looks really wrong to me but spellchecker says its OK) of Lincoln and that he was impeached. Other than that, nothing. But he was really quite an impressive man. If you are ever in the area, this park really deserves a visit.

But anyway, I am really tired so I am going to bed. More tomorrow...
