Where Are We Going?

I have this thing - this quirk. When Vol Fan tells me we are moving, I start moving there in my head.

I google. I research. I map. I plan. I read reviews.

So when Vol Fan said we would be at home this summer, I moved. I had plans. Windows were going to be washed. Walls were going to be painted. Closets were going to be cleaned. Flowers were going to be planted.

But then, things changed.

And Vol Fan said we would be in Kansas City this summer. So I moved. I had plans. Barbeque was going to be eaten. National parks were going to be visited. Tornadoes were going to be hunted.

But then, things changed.

And Vol said we would be on Sanibel Island for the summer. So I have moved. I have plans. Shells will be hunted. Beaches will be walked upon. Bicycle paths will be ridden. Tans will be gotten.

But for now, we are headed to Tennessee at the end of the week. Pita and AB will be hugged, will be played with, and will be spoiled.

But I have my fingers crossed for an island summer! Any one up for a road trip? We always have a spare bedroom.....

You two have such an interesting life... I'd love to be able to move around like that. You do see many different areas of the country that way.

I hope that Sanibel Will be an option. That is one gorgeous place!!!!

Keep us posted--and enjoy Tullahoma for awhile. Those babies will love to see their Auntie.. You can spoil them some more.

Hugs,
Betsy

Oh man, and I thought you were my friend. Ok, so cyber friend...the best kind almost.

I'm going on a road trip to vegas in June, and then VA in July. I wanted to give you a hollar on my way through TN, but no! You will be on an island in the Gulf of Mexico, sipping Pina Coladas...and Suz will probably shimmy on up from her little paradise and join you.

I'm gonna go have a swig from my bottle of gin...and I don't drink.

I'm jealous, jealous, jealous.

I think I envy you...Im not sure. Theres something absolutely awesome about moving that often...getting to see so many places, and being there just long enough to know them without becoming jaded or bored by them...

Whats the average length of time youre at a place?

Wow, I would love being on an island for summer.

But no-oh, it's middle of boondock Kansas for me, this summer, this winter, eternity stretches before me.

Tammy from Color of Home is my sister...the two of us could be there faster than a duck jumps on a junebug!

I think you are going to need a booking agent for that extra bedroom...and I'm looking for a job. Or maybe you could utilize a personal secretary. I could type up your blog posts.

Sanibel is beautiful! And close to Everglades National Park, which is lots of fun. Watch out for the alligators!
